I once had a 1.6 16v astra G that when driven normally would avg. 11MPG....needless to say I flogged it once i cottened on

That was also the last petrol engined car Ive ever owned

8mpg is what you could expect if climbing a mountain in 4wd lo , but on a run????

I reckon it's doing 15 to the gallon if that

I have still got that over fuelling promblem,I have narrowed down to the manafold being warped

i could get 7mpg to show on the computer of my old rover sdi vitesse but that was 3.5 injected, great days

if you were getting fifteen to the gallon todays trip would of cost you approx £40 jas

Colleys v6 dose more to a gallon Then mine, on the last annual meet I had to stop of to get fuel :oops:

I used to get 8mpg from a fully loaded double decker bus 20 years ago :shock:

i used to get 8 ish mpg in a 24 tonne arctic truck with a 30 foot trailer which i used to raz non stop

ow and

today i replaced my rear shocks with the monroe shocks i have aquired and painted
with a normal shock

on the car

as well i tried to remove the half sharfts out of the lsd rear axle i have, but no joy and one tree snaped :oops:

a good wash and wax so she's all shiny and most of the light scratches have gone.

fitted the rare uncracked inlet manifold .Weird thing is, half the nuts were little more than hand tight wonder if this could be the cause of the crack in my old one ?

I am in the middle of spay painting the spare wheel, now I say painting but in my own style I am actually just converting the colour to black from silver to match the other cakky job I did painting the others last year :lol:

Quality?....nope just black drips :oops:

Well I am getting there

Just a few more drips and a few more runs in the paint and I will have got it low enough to my standards :oops:

I have done nothing with mine today not even drive it maybe tomorrow
