today i had mine in a garage and up on ramps

and i have got a new exhaust part. for the tail section cos £30 fitted.
as well i had a slight blow in my car and the guy repaired that for free for me.

now sounds much better :dance:

Ripped interior apart trying to find best way to tap into the C'locking wiring for the remote kit then rebuilt it

Got wet and cold again :roll:

just fitted the new springs :dance:

they have lifted the rear 4 inches from floor to plastic arch, was a hair under 32 inches its now 36 inches dead :twisted:

i have lifted the front from 31 inches to 34 inches as to not overdo it. :shock:

the ride is fantastic, im not too sure about how 'wobbley/unresponsive' ish the steering is.

I received my little led side lights today (standards blown) but it was far to windy to fit them and I didnt get out of bed with my hangover until just a couple of hours ago :oops:

went to the petrol sation to fill the V6 up £8was full £86.21 later and she full now have a range of 300 miles :lol:

not much but will be a fun 300 miles :twisted:

Got it stuck in a large deep puddle on Salisbury Plain, electric's soaked and engine stopped after miss firing, towed out by a Range Rover :sick:

oh the shame. sprayed spark plugs with WD40 and off she went again for the rest of the day without any problems

Took 1 step forward and 3 back trying to fit the replacement rear transfer case - see my original posting for full chapter and verse.

Had the shorty in the garage today and 5hrs later weve done a lwb rear light conv, removed all the old rear bumper(s) n fabbed n fitted a new 1 piece rear bumper thats abit differant to any ive seen :wink:

now its ready to play :dance:

Not the truck ... but used the truck to take all the innards of the RatVan to the tip. Now tomorrow will be stripping the walls and roof off to the chassis.

Modded the air intake after finding the inside of the air box was covered in dried silt.
Now in sucks from inside the car.

Rseaville, have u got anymore pics of this mod? Ie how u got it thru the bulkhead ect?

Hipo, yours is the dti it is fine with taking air from inside the engine compartment as it needs to pass through the turbo and be cooled by the intercooler anyway so a cold air feed is not an issue for the intercooled turbo diesels.
Just do what I did for many years, zip tie a pipe to something near the top of the bulk head, :wink:

Good mod Rseaville...done the same myself a few times before and works a treat...Gives you a self hoovering footwell too!!!!, just make sure you passenger holds that OS map up nice and high! :lol:

Heads had to come off and ready for the machine shop in the morning. Gasket's finally give up stripped it yesterday found 2 exhaust manifold studs bust which someone's had ago at getting out. Ones a right mess and the others got a drill bit busted in it

The sludge has filled all the breathers and even started getting into the throttle housing via the breather off the rocker cover :shock:

and also found a slight split in the bulk head around the pedal boxin the normal place :roll:
