Got on my back under the truck, scraped a layer of rust and years of mud and whatever else was growing under there and Waxoyled the entire chassis :dance:

Basicall ended up covering myself in the black stuff as well leading to a layer of skin having to be scraped off as well :oh yer:

Today I washed all the crap Colley Kindly left on my car from him leading through the strata. Oh an I striped the thread On one hole in each of my new manual Hubs WTF are they made out of, Cheese? :evil:

Water couldnt have got in the tank could it on your last laning trip? Is the fuel lowish?

Light came on , so I just put 20 notes in it. Drove 17 miles home. Parked it up, went back to it 30 mins later and it refused to start. I'm getting a fresh gallon of diesel tomorrow and I'll plop the inlet pipe into that and see what happens

Bang a thread up Si, it will be easier to follow (not that I am any good with new fangled DTI's )

Used the Fronty for the first time in a few weeks. Started first kick, possibly due to the solar panel trickle feeder connected to the battery. Drove excellently.

You get sun??? :shock:

whats sun? Just get about 4 hours of daylight to activate the charging light on the panel at the moment.

Started her for the first time in just over 2 weeks. Fired up as soon as the key was turned and drove her to work. Trying to mix my commute between the wifes Astra and the Trooper to keep them both running. Realised how much I missed driving her.

Yeah, I got that feeling on the way back from the MOT station with Holly the other day....
6 months since I drove her back from Avalanche, and the only time I've been in a Fronty since is to pootle around the SE site, and that was 6 weeks ago now.

Removed all badges and trims and started to prep the bodywork for new paint

Got 4 new tyres fitted for winter, Black Star 31/10-5 R15 A/T French made, tread like BFG A/T, Great went up the field in 2wd no probs.

Put most of the dash back in,gave it a run and still the management light still comes on a 45 mile run :roll:

As soon as I hit 45 miles on my trip, the light comes on :lol:

Stripped rear brakes down as failed MOT on rear brakes
Pads were good till itrashed them getting them out :roll:

But the rubber seals are not any good
And pistons are seized solid

Then I cleaned the wheel arch down and started to under seal it

today i got a set of 4 (yes 4) goodyear wrangler atr tyres fited to my well offset steel wheels. and now have them on as my orignal at's one of thes has a slow puncture but i carnt find it :oh yer:

fitted my new o/s headlight tomorrow i will fit a new set of auto hubs i picked up from the scrappy.
