I got a set of pajero pods with the inclometer , temp and the altimeter the temp in side an outside thing will be replaced with a compass or a clock or might just stick something ellse in there... hamster lol

well decided today i'd go for it , not done a thing to the frontera I rescued after being dry stored fo 6 years+, got it all working as she should and mobile then parked her up, started her today gave her a wash and booked her in for the MOT in the morning 11AM, i'll see where i go from there :roll:

, see what else needs doing,as i checked what i know brakes,lights,any fluid leaks,all seams fine time will tell in the morning, oh well at least i shall know after noon tommorrow, i'll let you all know how she copes, who knows if she good i'll put a pic up of when i bought her and as she stands now

Started to grind the rest of the rust on the bodywork in preparation for a satin black respray next week and gave the new rock sliders a temp waxoyl till they get seamed in

Inflicted the ultimate challenge on the Redneck wrecker....

Could it dead lift the front end of a landcruiser, complete with chassis engine and gearbox...probably 3/4 of a tonne if not more, and extending a good 5ft out from the back of the wrecker, so I could load it onto the trailer to run it in...

Well...it took 2 hands on the winch handle on the harvey frost to lift it, and it needed 65psi in the rear tyres, and the steering was crazy light as the front tyres barely touched the floor....but it did it...it flippin well did it...

Gotta say this little wrecker is awesome...

Later went and moved Stevey 2stucks VW to his workshop with the 2.8 and trailer...

Greg why not just add more weight on the front to counteract it, like they do on the cranes to counter the weight

Have got a huge winch I was gonna put on the front, but I gotta say its probably never going to lift that much weight again, still cant believe it did it to be honest...that is fooking heavy...and a dead lift, and its not right against the back either which makes it worse...
Based on what it dead lifted today, I reckon it would lift the front of a 7.5tonner truck and drag it...a transit it would find easy...

Certainly is...gotta say I was really surprised it managed it, I was half expecting to have to cut the engine out and load it separate, but it lifted it without any problems really...smashing little tool it is, will be a shame to cut it up late spring...
