I drove mine some more today to go shopping. A rare thing since I got my company car.
God I hate those damn tyres. Noise is doing my flippin' head in!

Took it to Tesco and stuck £90 of fuel in it and with three vouchers saved £7, so £83
Then stuck 400ml of 2 stroke in the tank, only did 10 miles so no real difference yet.

It lubes the pump and supposedly keeps the injectors clean, I discussed it some time ago with Mike Awdriver96 but just never got around to it.
Doing some googling it seems people get a smoother engine and less smoke (though I am fine on that score) and some report 3 to 5% fuel increase though that can be offset but the cost of the oil, but my thinking is preventative as the sulphur has been pretty much removed from diesel now and thats what lubed the pumps, the alternative to sulphur is added to the fuel is reckoned not to be as good.

cut out twice one while crossing a daul carriageway low fuel choked filter thanks to veg oil experiment, lost gears due to loss off clutch fluid not a good frontera day
