Fitted the new front shocks today, only minor drama was a snapped lower bolt but off to the shed and a quick search later it was sorted, found I need a new battey, so thats one for the trade card next week :roll:

These where white when they where fitted, years of wayoil and underseal :lol:

They are surprisingly still in good nick, to some force to closes them (by the way these are claimed :wink:

I stripped the grill off the sport so i could open the bonnet to nick the headlight bulbs for the lwb seem i blew two headlight bulbs and a side light :shock:

tonight i have decided to sell my big 285/75 r16 tyres and get a set of 235/85 r16's insted

I think I may just have started a new craze, i now have a 3x3 due to a wheel coming off. Everyone is gonna want a 3x3 me thinks

Mapracing did it to bobbins 2.8 too....I found the nice flat section on the rear disk when swapping the wheels over the other day, and an interesting pattern on the inside of the wheel! :lol:

I spent an hour shearing off the four bolts that hold the bash plate on the underside of my 2,8. Then an hour drilling them out and re-tapping them.
Took off the front cross member and gave it and the bash plate a serious steam clean. I then changed the oil and filter and steamed off the underside and the bottom of the engine as it was bogging, It was that filthy I think I must have had a leak but I cant see one now its all clean.
I also found a shock absorber bolted to the front axle and the steering rod. I can't figure out why but it seems to be fitted with propper brackets so I've left it .Any ideas guys?

Yeah I agree. Do they fit them on cars like this though???

You can get a kit to fit them on a fronty, more important when you run bigger offset wider rims and tyres...
I thought about putting one on my 2.8lwb, but decided against it as I have kinda got to used to the hedge diving tramlining now. :lol:
