Well I tried to start mine today so I could take it to Richards to get the problems sorted,and guess what the Foocken thing would not start,it just keeps turning and tuning over,then fires up :dance:

then cuts out :twisted:

and then would not start,so I slammed the door and came in for a fag and :drink:

So its going to get recoverd tomorrow to go to Richards work shop :cry:

Saw the odometer roll 75000 miles.

Well me and my brother went out today to see a nice W plate tidy swb dti in sky blue (not sure what the colour is called). The dealer had £1995 in the window....well after much brutal haggling and telling him how much was wrong with it we took it home with a years MOT and tax for £1400. The 4wd didnt work...it had zip boost and a EML when you booted it....Only showing 36k on the clocks...looks almost showroom on the outside, a few marks on the inside....but nothing too bad. Has the famouse clocks failt...says hes doing 140+ whe hes only going about 30 lol....but I'll fix that for him no problem.

Fixed the 4wd and the boosting problem by just snipping the ends of the vac pipes....sadly the EML still comes on when you boot it up a slip road....so I'll have to look into that a little more...oh and the wipes dont park and only work and normal speed or hyper speed....but I think thats just the orange alarm box next to the glove box thats had it.

Anyways...some pix:

The detectives amongst you will notice it only has 3 mud flaps and 1 well rotted side step....slightly odd but we over looked that lol. Looking underneith I dont think its ever been offroad (Thats about to change lol). All in all I think we got a prity good deal to say it was from a dealer

Swapped out the bearing on the steering pump belt idler. easy enough to do, ten mins for the bearing, 20 mins to find and recover the ratchet I dropped into the engine bay that landed within the rad fan housing.

Let her in doors drive me back from the pub. Fcuk me that was a long ten minutes :shock:

I went to see the Mrs at the car boot sale, and found the knocking noise I noticed the other day...the rear window hatch wasn't shut correctly :oops:
