i removed the carpet it was still wet from when i went to glentarkie :shock:

it stunk.

I then removed the rear part of roof was quite easy couple of bolts and nuts wee kick with the feet to break seal and lift it off think took me an 1 hr n half to get carpet and roof off.

What ya doing to Marvin then Stuart? Apart from dismantling him. :lol:

today me and foggy went to the scrappy to collect my diff, and when i got there i found i had nearly the hole front axle :dance:

all for £50
as well as there i got a few towing eye's ready for the winter, and 2 good con at tyres (as foggy has another of the 2 to make another set of 4 :mrgreen:

MOT done, no advisories

Did a bit of a quick getaway from a junction in Derby and managed to rip the tread blocks off the outside of my right rear tyre. That ll teach me to spin those rears up on the V6.

I know what I will be doing tomorrow then

Drained the cooling system and flushed with plenty of water. Removed rad and flushed both ways to get all the sediment out of the bottem and then refitted and filled with nice new coolant. Did air filter, oil and filter change at the same time, forgot to get fuel filter :oops:

Made some 2" coil spacers which will get fitted when my wheels and 31" tyres get delivered.

Bought another one!!!! :dance:

Took it out a few minutes ago and got it muddy, to test the 4wd is working right...honest...

Whipped the dash out of Julies Sport, stripped it down and replaced 2 x capacitor that control the speedo stepper, 2 x diode and fitted new push to make switch ( trip reset ) all parts from Maplins total cost less than £3.50.

Whilst the dash was out I removed the shear bolts that holds the steering column in place as they were loose and replaced them with proper bolts.

popped the dash back in and got Julie to take it for a whizz around the block.

All thumbs up so a job well done.

Julie then gave both a good hoover out and we cleaned the glass of them both.

I took Beasty out for a bit of a run. First time she's been started in over 2 weeks. Felt like I was driving a truck.....especially compared to my Ford Ka company car. :shock:

Decided to strip down the front brakes to clean and regrease the sliders. 1 was seized solid and as per normal it broke in the carrier. Going to try and drill out the broken pin than all i need to get is 1 sliding bolt. Removed the clutch pedal box to see if i can fix the cracked bulk head.

i got it extremely muddy ... no doubt pictures will follow :lol:

i also donated a front number plate to the carwash :shock:
