As I always say if your not off road all the time ATs are perfect and you have the option of good handling and enough off road capability to cope with anything up to moderate off roading, so good choice, also ATs are best for snow and sand so should work well up their beyond the UK's Arctic Circle

Thanks Ste,was wishing that storm that is approaching would go a touch further north so it pulls snow-filled weather south on its trailling edge

The tyres I am buying have more aggressive meat on them than the works Landys were shod with and we were having to head out into some mighty blizzards with resultant depths of snow up to approx 8" with drifts much deeper, so I am ha ppy with my choice.

One day I will get around to posting some of my Fronty pics on here showing the motor a couple of hundred feet above the town having driven up a snow covered track.

(Best go back to topic before we get told off!) I am considering washing off the sea-spray from the car and give some hint of wash/wax prior to the salt bath that is approaching later in the weekend.

Yer get it washed and if you can undersealed, or at the very least waxed, will make getting the new salt off easier.

will do, I think there may be a dry spell somewhere in tomorrows weather mix. Still, I am one of those who believe washing a car in the rain is possibly more kind to the paintwork than when the weather is dry.

Yes and you dont spend more time washing the dirt on the road down the grid than you did washing the car

Self rinsing weather....takes half the effort out of it!

Back again, yep, rain softens the dirt for me and assists by rinsing the soap off. Result.

Let the other half use it. Now when you go over a bump hard the interior light flashes on, the radio goes off and the rear wiper comes on

lending a 2tonne truck to a woman is deffo aiding and abetting an accident maybe!

VX should have used the FOG misses's for product testing when they first bought out the fronty...if VX had remedied and reinforced everything that they managed to break in the first week, we would now have trucks tougher than a Landcruiser!

One weekender last year, Sally killed the clutch on her truck on the way there, then got into the LWL and the mirror fell off, then got in the 2.8lwb and the drivers window fell out...she did well!

Replaced the fuel lines on Sally's glitterball 2.8 shorty today...with muchos help from Davetherave and use of his ramp where he works which made life loads easier.
Works a treat now and its all taxed again so back on the road again!

Had to disconnect then reconnect the nuisance radio again because the backlight wouldn't go off. Any of you got any ideas why some of us suffer this problem?
