Chris I backed off those bolts, I just knew mine where going to snap and work was the next day, they are there to annoy me another day  one thought, would they be easier to have gotten out with the engine warm?

Yep I had a funny feeling they were gonna but was in the kinda mood where I didn't care if they did cos i wanted it done, bad day at work

Had just got home so engine was warm, was working them back and fore to try an loosen them but didn't work

Taking the particulate filter off has made a slight difference to boost, it appears to come in slightly earlier and increases faster :D

You get yours out Ste? or still having a fight?

I dropped an M10 over them, wasn't much left poking up on the one and wanted to make sure I got enough penetration with the welder

Nice one.

I for one washed and waxed the 2.8 , I must be lucky or something because the gearsticks sit ok and there are no foul gears after the body lift. See show em some TLC and they respond like a lady

Not sure if it was the heat from the welder, they were glowing after welding the nuts on, or the freeze spray I used :?

Welded nuts on stuff before after snapping them and it usually does the job, even done snapped off bleed nipples in brake calipers with no problems :D

Installed fire extinguisher. Tightened the under tray bolts. Refitted tank guard. Pointed some stakes. Drilled holes and fitted rope handles to waffle boards. Electrical contact cleaned mirror switch. Created a pile of stuff in the middle of the garage that will be taken to Bala. Swapped road exhaust tail pipe for off-road one.

Having a break now, but will do a fluid check this afternoon.
