WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Sort of Foggy. Chloes dancing pole is behind my computer desk and I reached out for it as I walked past it. It was set to spinning and as I reached out for it to walk past it my head flicked out and cracked really badly whiplash style. God almighty crack at the base of my neck and the muscles tensed up pulling them. Should only take a couple of days to heal. I have to take 3 off 5mg Diazepam tablets for three days and see how it goes.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!well...finally got around to fixing the leaking rocker gasket, had to re-tap the head as two managed to get stripped (probably my fault, over tightening)...2 days later and a lot less oil leaking to the tarmac...think there could be a leak around the oil pump and back end of the sump , from my pre-annual big end failure..talking of which 2200 miles and it's still running (they still tap a bit..so a replacement crank is still required, old one (current) is already on plus 0.75 bearing shells..so not really viable for re-grinding...just need some ca$h tokens)

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Spent money on it!
£115 exhaust system £102 on 4 x AT Kingpin Tyres £12 on sump gasket £3 on exhaust paste £17 on HT leads £12 on plugs £unknown on MOT in a few days! The dilema (bad spelling!) is on wether or not to buy some black modular rims or a bug guard and some wind deflectors. The alloys are pretty knackered on Wokka! I found a set for £138 brand new which I didn't think was bad. If it bleeds, I can kill it.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!today me and fog man decide to have a cam bet evening.
so we start on his B and sort that out in about 45mins (one tooth out on the timing) then a cupper and start on my A and then the fun started couldnt get he fan off to start with, then with a lil squert of something i have in my boot, it came flying off then taking the fan belts off was easy, then he cover came off and the old belt was on show then we go the new bel out and errm it wasnt the same size, so we double cheacked and it was ment for a 2.0i frontera with a c20ne engine and tryed it and it no way was going to fit. then fog man gets the one he has ordered for his swb and again no it would not fit, they arere about 31tooth short so a quick call to a few people (greg and pete) and we find out there is 2 different belts, and we had the wrong one.so then we put mine back together and hen will have to order the right belt for it CARTREK

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!That would explain the huuuuuuge fuel consumption Fogman was getting on his B then. Bet it sounds a lot quieter now as well doesn't it.
As for me I finally cleared the garage out. 15 big black bin bags of rubbish, one large broken storage box of rubbish, and a knackered fridge ... all squeezed into the Trooper and taken to the tip. Then I set up my workbench for the 2.8 head I got off Yaki and started to strip and clean it ready for porting and polishing ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
