Just got fed up sunday morning with nothing to do and the weather being crap so went and bought a map and said to navigator "lets go ". Last minute .com decision. Was glad it did rain again, made the puddles deeper. Oh and less of the old if you don't mind.

Firstly well done Mat ... glad the decision to replace the gearbox was the right one. Always a scary decision to make.

needed to weild up both sills on the shorty both had holes around 3ins long but by the time i found good metal on the driverside the repair patch was more like 2ft long.

not on car but on caravan changed the inline water filter £25.50 what a rip off

put sterilizing tablet in 2 auqaroll bottles and filled system with it and cleaned all the other tap filter's

cleaned toilet water system and put pink in the top & blue in the bottom

will be off to cornwall late friday evening

got 2 tins of hammer finish hammerite paint from halfords, half price @ the moment painted the front bumper both rear bumper corners, fuel tank guard, front bash plate, & both sills , my old fronty now looks as if its just come off the production line, thats not bad for £16
