cheers fudge, its not the welds im worryed about 
its the metal that the welds are holding together, it seems to be a host of small dents on the crossmember near the welds 
- having said that, both sides seem to have them so maybe its normal and its just me looking for somthing broken but my tank gaurd is defo bent and I think the tank is now touching the floor of the car

Dan Tony (Meezermum) tank doesn't carry nearly as much fuel as it used too since he modded the shape of it 
These tanks are pretty flexible though so it's unlikely to leak
