WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

On the way to the Moto X yesterday I realised I hadn't tightened the nut on the bottom of the n/s/r shocker. After pulling in for some fuel I had a look underneath and the nut was about to drop off the thread

Thankfully I had been to lazy to put the socket set away in the shed so it was still in the boot. A quick tighten up and all was good again

si, remind never to you lose on mine, you have a habbit of doing up nuts and bolts, lol

hopefully fixed my oil leak and fixed my trailer socket

Well yesterday actually but refitted the bull bars after having cut them down to nudge bars and fitted new spot lights with angel eye sidelight rings that i bought brand new yesterday from burscough car boot sale for £20 the pair

but need to come up with a solution for remounting the number plate properly

i was boored again, so more things to play with on mine

so i decided to make a spade holder

Re-fitted the fog light pods. Lights themselves aren't completely secure yet. Will have to wait as can't do things outside my house due to neighbour dispute. Will update pics when I can.

Tightened up the near-side front wheel bearing - will wait until after the AM to replace it though.

fitted a new o/s/f wheel bearing and thought i best do a quick all round check, just as well i did as i found that the o/r spring is snapped

, So off to the srappy at 4pm today and grab the 2that are there

Resprayed the rear cross member cos it was all rusty where the bumper bits used to mount on to. Just got to wait for it to dry now.

Always the professional I used Plasticote black BBQ spray

Woop! might aswell start getting involved in this madness; I washed and polished my car given its been such a nice day :dance:

also attempted to bolt on the newer front lamps (not wired and wonky but yay!)

Once the cleaning was done i was free to draw up some plans for modifications.. then got them proffesionally rendered:

got a new bash guard tweaked the torsion bars magic metalled the exhaust manifold got her a new sister

went and picked a propshaft up off drift at andysd1s house while i was there ste tightened my wheel bearing up and rewound my brake caliper as the front brake was sticking. got home and fitted the propshaft.

Attempted to put my bullbar on, failed miserably due to stoopid loose captive nut thing. Can't figure out how to do it up with the bullbar in place. I can get to it if I take the front bash plate off but that gap will be covered by the bullbar.

Need to find a way to scure the nut without having a spanner on it :wall:

if U have a welder, reweld it back on, if not take it to a small garage and ask if they have a welder, they will only charge a fiver?
