took the sports to one of the multitude of car wash's that have sprung up

had the outside done for £8 wash an wax with polish it shines now it was worth it just to get the wheels cleaned

Sorted out the rear brakes squeaking ,job done nice and quite now

Wanted to take some pictures of the new snorkel but it's been peeing it down all day today!! :evil:

lost about £15 worth of fuel. i didn't know i had hole in the hose near the feul filter. :oh yer:

replaced the rear brake lines, after they had split

found out my ns axle oil seal is leaking into the drum brake. and pulled most of the dash out trying to fix the fan. if it turns out to be just the resistor pack im going to freak

dash took apart see here click her for dash board work

fitted new url sticker think it looks good

refitted painted side steps rock sliders

painted roof rack copper greased all brake lines

Considering doing the same thing myself mate.

freed off blower motor and re soldered the resistor put dash back together it all works. stripped front hubs expecting black evil mess of death but found nice clean grease. removed bodged in wiring for fogs fitted switch to dash in factory place. started building roof light bar. thought about washing her

Gave mine a good wash and now im thinking about welding the side steps up mmmmmmmmmmm

I discovered I need a new fuel filter housing, the diaphragm has gone and its sucking in air :roll:

so a second hand one should be winging my way here shortly

, mean time car is off the road for the one day in three months I really need it, tomorrow :evil:

why not bypass it temporarily drift. or better yet replace the housing with one form a scrappy diesel anything with a hand primer will do

Thought about that but managed to get a lift sorted (all be it I have to get up at stupid oclock) so will wait till me old mate Colly gets the part to me, a lot of his old car will be attached to mine from next weekend :lol:

Broke it at drumclog an still kept going an got home

Had a crawl underneath it and found a few rusted brake pipes, a leaking brake caliper in addition to the massive oil leakage from the engine rear crank seal.
Ordered a set of parts for the engine (cylinder liner kit, new valves) and if someone here has a front near side caliper I'm definately interested :-)

Well today me and Colley did my brakes all round,the shoes on the back was metal to metal :lol:

And then we did a 4" lift on Colleys and what a bloody job that was :evil:

well we had a few issues with bolts but we got there in the end :dance:

we just need to wind up the torsion bars now as we ran out of time and light :oh yer:

ow yes we used 2.8 springs and 2" spacers

And fitted fine it gave a 4" lift in total
