last night got stuck in a car park at hunstantion (local beach), got in the car park fine down hill it didn't slip or slide but when we left 2wd just couldn't pull up the hill, even on tickover in 1st rear wheels were spinning, had to use 4wd just to creep up the hill on the ice, even with 4wd she was slipping and sliding,

Today, I scraped the ice off"Twice".
Cleared it once, visitors arrived, eventually tried to go shopping only to find the car had frosted up again!
At least Tesco's carpark was fairly empty by the time we got there.

Oh yeah, nearly forgot. Filled up with screenwash, topped up clutch fluid and Oil!

I rescued a woman who was stuck on a hill in the snow and ice. She was beginning to panic when I got there. I asked her if she wanted some help as I had a tow rope. She was very grateful and gave me £20 for my trouble. I wasn't so happy afterwards though...I slipped on the ice and did my knee in again. OUCH

Spent the day at the inlaws house in dorset.
Thought it a good idea to go out for a christmas drive and now have a new shaped front wing (bloody ice )

today i got me switches ready to install on my fronty, i have got a second locking switch for the ignission system, since i have no imbiloser at the mo
as well i have got a switch and wiring for my cb radio.
so tomorrow if it isnt bad weather i will be putting thoes in. it wont be too hard since they are all wired up and just clips in

drained and flushed cooling system, fitted new radiator return hose £32 from main dealer - old one was starting to perish at rad connection, refilled with pink stuff and went for a spin to check all was well , no leaks or airlocks im a happy bunny

Discovered a 2mm split in an outer cv boot, so today, whizzed the wheel off cleaned it up and glued it up jobs a goodn
Wouldnt mind I only replaced it with a stretchy a few months ago

Stared at the new rims I am part way through sanding ready for painting while changing the oil, oil filter, coolant, rocker gasket, broken expansion tank fitting on top of the thermostat housing ( ), cleaning brakes, new spark plugs, fuel filter, and airfilter on the wifes Arsetra.

Then ran out of light so had to come in before doing anything on my truck

well today i did my imobliser what im not going to post tooooo much about.
and other than that and working out where i will be putting the cb radio and its switch. and i ran the wire around from behind the dash to the battrey. so it has a seperate power supply. and started to drill a hole for the switch. and will get pics of that once im done

oh and when i took it back out i forgot to put the water bottle bk so i was wondering why it made a funny noise when i was driving, till i rembered i dont think i have done any dammage. and it isnt leaking so looks lik i remembered in time

Well just bought a safari snorkel so got to wait a fortnight for it to be delivered. Quite looking forward to getting it and fitting it. Bit daunting cutting the wing though.

got the tracking done, Alex tweaked it last time, mate used the 4 wheel laser on it, OMG, its like driving a new car, it was only out by a smidgen

Lots of smoke coming from the front wheel yesterday on way back from my Mums, was too bladdered too look at it last night

Front caliper was solid, even one of sliders was solid, I had to hammer it to separate the caliper and the slide Spent a good couple of hours polishing with fine wire wool and lubed it all up with plenty of copper slip. Only problem was that the rubber boot that goes over the piston was ripped before I removed it so need to source one of those . Re assembled and works a treat
