Left home for work this morning with a complete exhaust system, not by the time I got to work.

Waited for the sun to come out, and set about a Blue Peter style emergency "get me home" repair

Tail pipe has split right by the flange (I love that word) so with the help of an old redbull can, half a tub of gungum and an old wire coat hanger I now have some sort of fix. Hopefully it'll get me home (about 11 miles)

Why is it that these things happen only when the useful parts/tools have been taken out of the truck and stored in the shed, for the day that you will want them at home?.....darn thing very rarely has a problem at home, or near to it..

done a few irn bru can running repairs. good luck.

I went to falkirk last night an collected a set of heavy duty car ramps make sorting my exhaust alot easier

I washed my truck today. The jet wash cost me £7, and the bloomin thing's still dirty. Looks like the old fasioned bucket and sponge jobbie at the weekend me thinks.

you do know your suppose to return the mud when you have finished with it. I havent washed ine since i went in september i dont want to see the damage plus it upsets the nieghbours

Well, I had the reminder through from DVLA today for Lara.
Phoned em up and spent about 30 seconds on the blower to DVLA declaring her as SORN again. Slightly scary to think that she's been off-road in Kent for a year now, doesn't time fly, eh?
