Sussed out the finishing touches to my LWB taillight mod, and found more rust on the landrover to cut out and weld up...was on schedule to get it primed today ready for hi-build 2moz, and base n clear thurs...but guess I'm gonna be busy 2moz now...
Just need it done and out the workshop so I can get on with other more interesting and less rusty stuff!
But its a v8 so will redeem itself when I start it again, until I move it and something breaks! :oh yer:

Li'll white leafer needs some work before the picnic on sunday so will burning more midnight oil than 10/40 this week! :lol:

My poly bushes arrived today so spent a couple of hours fitting them,

Tessie is now back in the air again :lol:

Well today
I fixed my cb wiring as it packed up,and i could not remember how i wired it in :oops:

it turnd out to be a fuse.
Then i checked my lights,and i have no side lights on the front :evil:

and my roof lights have packed up once again ,after fixing them less then 14 days ago :wall:

went to sort it out,then then it started to rain heavy :grumpy:

Started the decent wiring up of my lightbar with the help of Rifleman and bigdazz.

Shall finish it off next week during another day of banter

Kicked it again bort stronger brakets so snorkal wont fly off on moterway Again

Scared the c**p out ov me

Installed a new battery that I aquired today, also found out that my transit van has two batteries under the drivers seat and
yet still starts and runs fine with one good battery and one duff one..... :wink:

3rd attempt at re soldering my instrument cluster, and managed to foobar my temp guage which was working perfectly before :evil:

Found out why my cb was not transmitting to well, the coax fell out the back :oops:

Fix my side lights,bloody thinks, you Carnot get you hands in,and to top it of i dropped my bulb in the light,now its rattling around in the light :grumpy:

But i managed to fix them both out

looked at it, thought about selling it..fired it up..realised that even though she's nearly knackered, she ain't a write off just yet...still purrs like a kitten once she's warmed up a bit (once the tappets have stopped banging a way like a tool box in an earthquake)

just need the percy pounds to fix the other issues she currently has (HG,lower Bj, altenator and a few others inc timing belt etc), but she's worth it......shame I can't say the same about the wife, bottomless pit that one..and it still ain't gonna be happy....(or go around the wayfarer!!)
