Noticed the rear end on tessie was sagging a bit (on closer inspection, found the new rubber bushes fitted 5 months ago are knackered :cry:

) so bought a set of poly bushes on fleabay today :dance:

Dismantled and re-assembled the transmission tunnel trim yesterday, cos the rubber gaiter had come loose... Ignored the birds nest of wiring behind there (chocolate block in antenna lead?? Seriously?? :twisted:

)
Remembered to put the sound insulation back in too, and with the gaiter properly fitter, by 'eck does it make a difference.. I was able to hold a conversation with Dad on the way to our do last night

Fitted replacement alternator to the 2.3 as the one on it couldn't get a static charge let alone the battery :roll:

Finaaly bothered my butt to remove the mud wheels since drumclog last month a fitted road wheels back on i need to see if i can get my alloys sorted two are leaking air an im running on two steels an two alloys an one of them has a nail in it.

took it for a wee run as it has sat idle since the 25th of july an can hear my exhaust has a we blow in it just once i would like it not to be trying to get more blood out of me

fitted some leds

Hoovered the carpets & cleaned the windows on the inside :roll:

Changed front brakes and fuil fillter then kicked it

im on hols in bude cornwall & went to get oil changed at local garage

i asked how much for just an oil change no filter and was told £25 i asked if that was including the oil and was told no that just to change it & me supplying oil

i then said £25 just to undo 1 19mm sump plug & refit & fill with oil & no thanks and walked out

at least dick turpin had the decency to wear a mask :evil:

although it may not be used for as much P&P as you guys,she get a fair amount of annual milage & probably a lot lesss TLC,so as a reference point for the Dti I would say she done good
