Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Picked up my new motor today from fellow fogger dodgyvinyl, caught the train to Henly in Arden and drove it back
Its a 2.5TD LWB, needs a little attention but has MOT till Jan next year. SWMBO has put her foot down and its got to stay standard Has a few faults Starter motor is loose Oil pressure gauge is erratic - suspect sender unit Temp gauge doesn't go up? Central locking not working - think its disabled cos the alarm was playing up Seems to be a bit of an oil leak around the EGR valve Few scabs on the body need knocking off and painting Side steps are well rusty Steering box has been adjusted and its too tight ![]() ![]() Bull bar does nothing for the approach angle but its not going off tarmac (maybe) so no worries ![]() Like the sticker ![]() Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Dam, the Yak has gone all sensible
Doesnt look to bad, nice for the age. Starter just fill the swear box, oil pressure sender, clean the wire Watching this closely, may start a book to see how long its standard Nice sticker ![]() Ste

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Sally and I went up to workshop and woods today and finsihed(ish) the FOG-BOG, and with DavetheRave assisting created a monster masterpiece of a Gregster styley picnic table....dont want to give too much away...but its 13ft long and 5ft wide, and "industrial" in its construction
Dave and I tried to move it when it was finished and couldnt lift it between us Used a hand saw for about 30seconds before getting the hump with it and getting a trusty Stihl out of the truck! HUGE THANKS...goes to Retropedro for the timber he donated...had exactly the right amount, he must have read my mind..(bet it didnt long though, and was kinda scary for him though!)...topped it all off with some scaffold planks we bought today and jobs a bleedin goodun! BIG thanks Pete and Dave for your help and the lift home... Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon! Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again... She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body... Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer! MAKE IT or BREAK IT! TEAMXTREME4X4 ![]()
