WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Eventually managed to get the rusty drivers side step off when a couple of very troublesome bolts eventually squealed into submission. One of the support bars totally disintegrated during removal meaning that the step was being held on by the rubber mat! eek! Funny how the other step is solid and mostly rust free

Just need to find a replacement now because it's all lop sided...

Went up the woods in the 2.8lwb with DavetheRave....and cut some new tracks through...felled a tree which kicked and hit me in the shoulder/arm/elbow and scraped it up...stinging bigtime now I just had a shower :twisted:

Then helped Louis and Bill round up some horses cowboy styley in the fronty...gits did not wanna get caught...but good excuse for loads of flat out sideways in the fronty in trying to corner them in the field...got em in the end after about 1/2 hr...they had been at it for 2 hrs b4 we got there!!! :lol:

Then off up the workshop to have a tidy up....can see floor in the workshop now...space for more "stuff" me thinks :oh yer:

Dropped her in for a MOT retest at 9 am this morning

Got a phone call at 10:00 am to say she passed with flying colours and a congratulations on doing an excellent job on refurbishing the rear brake calipers and adjusting them by the MOT tester. He even said "I wish everyone would take the time and effort you did, especially considering its the braking system". Feeling chuffed. Not even and advisory, and nothing he noticed that might need attention in the future. Now going to get some underseal/chipguard and coat the chassis and unberbody.

Stuck another years ticket on her which was painful.

Decided to make a start on switching the interiors out then realised I don't have the appropriate sockets! This has prompted me to get myself sorted out with some decent tools so going to go shopping Saturday I think!

Well managed to get a bit more welding done and fitted my new inline fuel filter that can be cleaned, that will be handy!

These just show you where i fitted it.
Will be fitting the rollbar back in tomorow as i need a ratchet strap off my mate to pull the bar in a bit as the roof wont go down properly.

fitted 4x small spot's at front
located a second spare placed on roof rewired all the spots

fitted and run my new antenna and mag mount

all i need now is a lift kit

new wheel and badge

new aerial and mount

Finally got the bus taxwd and MOT'd :dance:

Now just got to start swapping bits over from the truck.

Hoovered out several years worth of crud from the inside, and gave her a once over before going away tomorrow.

went to collect the bits for andysd1 on my way to work

Got mine back from the garage after being fitted with new water pump also had cambelt done whilst it was in bits so hopefully it won't "drift" into destruction :wink:

I got a couple of jobs to do, i looked at it, and some more,then could not be :butt:

had a beer in stead :drink:

i Will do it some time this weekend

Put mine in the garage an teid to squeeze past an my put snap on tool box next to it and well the tool box lid was slightly open an i couldnt quite get past an SCREECH i scratched the paint tried to manover an done it again i am a pratt ah well another bit to paint or buy a decal to hide

had a new screen fitted to the trooper :drink:

new exhaust tip
and clued flag in place
