sorted simo_d's brakes, then had a look at his shocks, needs new ones, so orded them from llama4x4, he can pay me when they arive, (dont forget butplug)
he adjusted his hand brake, and he adjusted is hub, then i made him do my rear pads,

had a good day tinkering,

tomorrow, is planned, got to fit a new cv boot, oh the fun,

Fitted my roof lights

As I could not post yesterday, I'll post today...

Drove the Sport at "considerable" speed along a Comp Safari course.

As there was marshalling kit in the back, I did not take any chances, but managed to open it up on some of the straights - my conclusion is that the shocks need changing and an AT pattern tyre would be better than the MT's currently fitted.

For the time being, I'll limit my competing to Trials and Challenges, and stick to marshalling the Comp Safaries

Today i was going to take the EGV out to clean,but did not have the right tools :oops:

But i managed to clean the carb though

love the roof lights how did you mount them i wanted to mount my on the front but was bit iffy about the drilling was not sure if should or shouldn`t do they not light up your dash?

Clutch and gearbox replaced.Clutch pedal is nice and light now and i have all gears

Began the week long process of oiling body mounting points, hopefully during next weekend I'm off the fronty shall grow..

i changed the oil & filter on the trooper and added some STP oil treatment

although its the same engine as the fronty its a different oil filter about half the size :evil:

already done the fronty sports oil & filter a few weeks back

managed to get some rubber bungs so managed to wire up the roof lights found out after wiring them up i need three bulbs for them as only one is working

Once you fit the bulbs get some nice picture up of the lights working an how they look from the cab cause no one ever show`s what the friggin lights look like from the cab so for once lets see how much they light up the horizon

I finished the silver window tinting right around the beasty . Learned some valuable tecniques by the time it was done. made afew avoidable errors on the rear window as I done this one first and on my own, so think I will re do one day as I have enough left. I will post some pics in the rides bit.
