Took it to the woods and did loads of logging...aching now...must do it as we go along and not leave it till I have got loads to do...that way everyone will ache a little bit instead of me aching a LOT!

Was lovely up there today...kept looking at the blue sky through the trees that are just starting to come into leaf...
...the sky looks so nice when its not messed up with vapour trails from all the planes...
Here we go, plus point for the planes being grounded...the sky looks much prettier!!!

Had a wander/drive around and sussed out the drainage improvements we are going to implement to drain the main entrance track and formulated a plan to improve the farmers tracks no end... 8)

A jolly enjoyable, yet tiring, afternoon...

Right on.
Sat outside and looked at a clear blue sky; not a vapour trail anywhere. After two days in a Bobcat mucking out the stable and the central bit of the barn it was nice to sit outside, drink a real beer, look at the stars coming out and count the satellites without having to say "Oops no, that's a plane.".

Too bleedin cold in the evenings here still for sitting out and having a beer... :( saying that being 150yds from the sea dont help...is probably warmer inland a bit...)
Next to no light pollution over the sea though...so makes for excellent star gazing when roma gets her late night walk...if its high tide (so southends lights are obscured) and you walk down by the bottom of the cliffs it is so dark you cant see your hand 6 inches in front of your face...total darkness and millions of visable stars, satelites etc...really cool it is 8)

Cleared out a bin bag full of rubbish, found yet more tools..dicovered that some are awol.

Fitted power supply for forthcoming CB..straight feed from battery with in-line waterproof fuse holder..quick question..what fuse should I use? Cb is an old midland, sorry not a clue what the model is.

gave Diff filler / drainers another spray of WD40 ready for their impending change of cat pee.

bought wiring kit for spots, as I can't seem to get the VX wiring to work.

Thanks 4x4 bobby, I did test my wiring with the only fuse I had to hand which just happened to be a 10amp. Thought I would be about right, but just wanted to confirm just in case I turned into a fireball on the way to Bala.

Removed the bull bar to be able to mount a couple of front tow bars for moving the boat around. My god does it make HOS look very emasculated...it's all curvy and soft behind that big, growly (and slightly rusty...) metal cage!

Ah well, guess I bought it for pulling and moving stuff around not for looking "grrrrrr" so will have to live with it :(

New rear leaf springs
Front torsion bars wound up to match
Fuel tank dropped - all hoses replaced and rotted carrier re-sealed
Wheels refurbished
Spare tyre on roof to be able to get into boot with boat on back...
New heater matrix...warm, toasty and no more hot drips onto the passenger's feet :-)
Fully undersealed inc inside sills/chasis to keep out that nasty salty stuff!

Im sure mine lifted a half inch when I took (we it fell) the metal bullbar off, now got a nice foam bar, looks well better I think.

Anyway, got home from work and my rear exhaust pipe had turned up, so under the car I got, as the old one corroded through and was hanging off I only had to remove the mount/connection bracket, how hard can that be as I replaced the rear box 18 months ago and the nuts undone a treat, WRONG they refused to budge tonight, but I lost my rag and with a bit of swearing an nearly busting my thumb I snapped the two bolts  So replaced them from my stock and bobs your uncle new rear exhaust pipe fitted
