Replaced the coolant expansion tank. After 15 years (had hairline cracks in it when I got the truck 7 years ago) its finally started leaking. Not much but it was weeping coolant when the temp rose.
10 minutes later and a wee bit of fresh coolant and all hunky dory again.
Also since sorting out my intermittent engine management issue and cleaning the combustion chambers I seem to be enjoying reduced fuel consumption

removed spare wheel hanger, top bolts nice and easy with molelys, bottom two just fell apart, leaving nothing to grip, grinder sorted it, then put two bits of metal in its place, will post pics soon, thanks to drift for giving the idea and to A friend for doing it to drifty,
