Not today but yesterday refitted inlet manifold after cleaning, fitted new gasket. Amazing how many bolts you find missing, there was one bolt holding the coil pack onto the manifold, so have replaced missing ones. Removed exhaust manifold cleaned down and repainted. (This is one of the jobs I've been meaning to do since I had the new exhaust manifold fitted, found that one of the studs had been broken and a monkey job done on it so making up special fitment stud here at work) Today ordered new 'o' rings for the injectors and them rubbery washer things for the fuel rail. Looks like I have to replace one of the injectors due to the monkey cowboys that had it apart before not looking to see how the plug was connected and broke of the little shield whilst removing it Some jobs you wish you had just never started Gaz

Today i stripped the oil pump to see if that is the reason for the loss of oil pressure and oil light flickering on, and found this... DSCF2221.JPG 6 hours later after getting the wet n dry out it now looks like this... DSCF2222.JPG hopefully that will solve the problem

Plugged it into the laptop to check everything's running fine and it is. Took it round the block a few times and remembered how much I love driving it.

Just dropped it off for a service.
Not normally a big deal, but to the best of my knowledge it is over two years since it was last done, so a little concerned about what this might cost me.
Ah well, will just have to wait and see !

Ordered a new clutch kit (116 quid delivered). Release bearing is shot and its been about 70,000 miles since the last clutch was fitted so it makes sense to do the whole lot.
Its in the garage at the moment drying out as the carpets are wet and soggy from my recovery adventure last week along with a proper dunking last Sunday.

Replaced my front discs and pads, so now I can stop abit better...actually alot better. hardest part was getting that darn circlip out of the hubs.
Done them yesterday really as it's only 6.20am wet and dark right now.
