washed it again how come i dont go any where but it still ends up like ive been on a safari.

Andy has just been and bled the brakes for me and put the driver's door back together. Might need to replace the driver's door glass though cos the stupid little plastic clip things on the bottom are a bit knackered

Finally picked up my snorkel from Machynlleth

Fitted a new radio aerial to the outside of the light box, wired it in, and can now get twice as many chanels!

took the front bash plates off and gave them a good cleaning, ready for a new lick of paint. so there is a healthy part of Wales in the garden now.

tightened the sump bolts up, in the hope that that will solve my leak (but it looking like it's the rear crank seal, so it's ordered...deffo not the rocker gasket oil only appears towards the bottom of the engine around the bell housing)

fitted my shorty sporty with LWB rear lights.

have a bit of a doing day... we are off to Trax tomorrow with our Calibra V6, so one that was fettled, i had a few bits i wanted to do the the fronty...

so new wiper blades, as the old one looked like they had been on the car since new, new number plate's and cut the top off the foam A bar as it had snapped in the middle..

Fitted wheel centres donated to me courtesy of A friend, cheers fella.

Got some elextrical niggles sorted, I think.

Got my old laptop working in the car with MM and the GPS and my new inverter, happy chappy.

Oh and organised the boot box

Stripped the rocker cover of to do the Valve clearence bits.

Got that done, got engine all back together, after doing some adjustment to rocker arms, but still got slight rattle.

Will have to get some good ears to have a listen tomorrow.

In preparation for replacing my (now recieved) rear crank seal.

removed rear prop, drank some oil that dripped out of gearbox after I forgot to put something down to catch it.
Dis-conected electrics to g'box.
removed the 4 "easy" bolts at transfer box end of front prop, then swore a lot trying to undo and remove the other 4 at the diff end FAILED (can't see how the prop comes out without doing it, unless I've missed some thing)
took the slave off g'box and hung out of the way.
swore a lot more when i found a captive bolt for the Gearbox protection is no longer captive.
discovered that I've lost all of my long sockets somewhere...swore a whole lot more..
Had another go at the front props bolts at the diff end...again failed

decided that tommorrow is another day and I will be of supreme strength and ability ,so gave in for today.......then to top it off stood on the dogs foot..(she's ok by the way)

Stopped by Kwik Fit in Southport so they could adjust a naughty exhaust mount, which they did for free

Nice blokes they are. Hopefully it won't sound like a bag of spanners when I start her from cold tomorrow
