Flushed out cooling system including the heater matrix, fitted new thermostat but not refilled it yet, ordered a 3" long hose joiner to extend the bottom hose to accommodate the 3" body lift but its not arrived yet. Drivers door glass had come away from its plastic mountings so out came the glass and mounts and have reattached with Araldite, glass refitted. Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Went to a yard with my Ifor Williams 2 tonne trailer got it filled up with scraped tarmac from a huge digger. At the weighbridge it was 1,7 tonnes.
Towed it to the drive being done and when we unloaded it there wasn't enough so I went back and this time although the trailer was filled up the same it was 2.5 tonnes ! Very pleased to have saved twice the delivery fee of £90:00 which is £180:00. The fronty's almost paid for itself this year already.

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!I did
Bit of a rollercoaster, you don't find out you result for 7 days. Immediately after the exam I thought I'd failed, following morning after thinking some more I thought I should have done enough to pass but as time went on this reverted to I think I failed. Then the certificate arrived and I'd passed with merit so did quite well Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Fit an alarm after some scrote had my stereo away, fit a 7" flip screen DVD headunit and a Parrot hands free kit
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!hi jay what flip screen did you fit i tried one a while ago and cant remember exactly why or what it clashed with but the screen would foul up on something above and not open fully so unless you crouched down it was impossible to view
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Hose joiner and new clips arrived and fitted, cooling system refilled with fresh antifreeze.
Replacement fan cowling modified to clear the fan and fitted and made a start on the intercooler hoses, there are some silicone fitted however after fitting the fan cowling the modified plumbing no longer fits so its now a toss up between modifying the plumbing or taking the fan cowling back off Whilst under the bonnet I tidied up the loom where the snakes nest was, removed all the redundant connectors and sealed off the surplus wires.
