This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Ordered hydraulic timing tensioner, spark plugs, non a/c serp belt, new v groove idler, a fuel filter and an air filter for £106 inc delivery and import VAT from Rock Auto. Screweth youeth Vauxhall UK. All Gates/Mann/Champion kit too.

Ridiculous that you can import it all from across the pond for peanuts.

Anyone struggling for V6 Exhausts (list entire Bosal or Walker system inc CATs), Lambda Sensors and ABS sensors get onto them, super cheap to cheap. Isuzu Rodeo/Frontera B potato tomato. Bits arrive in 14 days.

Been playing with my new toy....Ingersoll rand w7150 cordless impact gun!!!

I thought my sealey 1/2" Battery impact gun was good, (I think this opened a few eyes down the woods as to what a cordless could do changing wheels in the tyre changing holes, and buzzing caravan jacks)...

until I got my Hilti 1/2" drive gun...which was much more powerful and usefully compact...

BUT...
These are all blown into insignificance by my new toy...
Almost 1100ftlb of reverse torque for cracking stubborn stuff!!!! It proper trys to spin you round...

Havent managed to find anything that this cant do with ease today, including crank pulleys, hub nuts, rusted suspension components....even puzzed my mates hgv truck wheel nuts straight off...
Well impressed...they aint cheap, but they are pretty damn awesome...Apparantly out performs the snapon guns easily, and is cheaper than their biggy.

Dont drill your bodywork, just stick the arches on with sikoflex or similar panel adhesive.

Ditto as above

After too many weeks sorting out the D2 its back on the Frontera

Dropped the fuel tank and replaced all the fuel lines and tank breather with new plastic lines

Removed rear lights and the loom under the car, stripped back the loom as I am going to run it through the car instead of underneath. Separated the wires for the fuel sender from the loom and reattached to the tank and refitted the fuel tank.

Popped mine in for MOT and guess what ? It failed but not too badly number plate bulb loose nut on the rear anti roll bar and the worst bit a new steering idler required.not too bad for a 17 year old work horse ...

Called the AA out to mine.

Ignition barrel decided to jam, the very nice man came out and dismantled the steering, removed the locking mechanism and got me going again.

Now i just need to find another key and barrel to replace my screwdriver ignition.
