Not a lot to Truck really, well not as much as I had originally inteded...

Started off Friday, I got a new toy... but one thing led to another and I only managed to get on the truck late Sunday afternoon.

Pulled off the Bull Bars and Bumper to start with, then put the new toy together

Image

After lots of grinding, banging and a wee bit of choice language... oh and some welding (if you can call it that lol) I ended up with this hanging off the front of the truck...

Image

While it's very much a work in progress, heres one with the winch in place to see if it fitted

Image

Two pics showing planned method of fixing to the chassis

Image

Image

Left to do: Some more welding and then clean up. Make up some captive nuts to replace the 'knacked' threads on the original bumper and bull bar mounts. Clean up, paint and fit. And then the electrics for the winch.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here
