tell me about it i thought it was just worn plate but was like fook me when i took it off ... love the 2.3 its no racer and low on power but its good on juice and seems prity robust touch wood its the only thing ive had to really fix on it .... so far

hi newbie to the forum here, thank god i joined though because that frame is a brilliant idea , been chasein an oil leak on my frontera today, when i first spotted the thing leaking i thought........ rear crank seal! but im not convinced, im havin a nose around to see if i can find a different cause of the leak, so far iv noticed a split in the (excuse the terms) big ass pipe that comes from the turbo down to the intercooler?radiator?. (i have know idea whats what there is a water radiator, and two other small rads it goes to the small rad,)i could follow the oil trail from this pipe all the way down the back of the block over the top of the gearbox to were the drops are on the drive, i also have some oil pipes to the back of my engine close to the bulkhead that look abit grimey,but its a tad tight to see were the pipes are going, so i may need to mock one of these frames up if there is no 'patents pending' to drop the box out to have a clearer view.

I honestly went to sort the wiring on the troopers engine conversion but well i ran away i then went to do the body work on bighorn but ach well i could not be Bothered soi did nothing

Replaced drivers upper ball joint ... old one had about 4mm of play in it

On the B series conversion
Not done to day BUT got the gearbox fitted back in again along with the cross member and slightly modded gearbox mounting plate,
have now got a prop shaft thanks to rospicer, just have to get it shortened by about 3-4 inches
just received the 2.2dti down pipe, will have to shorten and change the front flange so it will fit the isuzu 2.5 turbo/ adapter pipe.
also replace all brake pipes and fuel pipes along with sender unit.
So hope it wont be to long till it's up and running

snapped by fanbelt so had to drive home on sidelites and no brakes

replaced fanbelt and bushes in alty bracket as they were worn out and alty moving about prob why belt snapped

Earlier I was stripping a bloody big Rolls Royce engine in work

And when I got home I sanded this down and primed it ready for painting

Fitted Terrafima front and rear diff guards but not to my Frontera unfortunately

the last time i felt like this was when my daughter was born.
am soooooo pleased its gone.
by far the worst car ive ever owned.
just a quick thanks to everyone who has helped me out over the last couple of very trying years.
will have a wry smile on my face now whenever i see a olympus on the road.
looking forward to a good nights sleep now its gone.

not today but over the weekend i looked at what i hope to b my new frontera

it is a swb leaf spring c20.. a very early one as well. and in a strange yellow colour....
the wife approves of it too.

will hopefully have it on the road for the annual

Got the luxury of my uncle's shed to to some clean up work while the snow was quite heavy outside... Got the carpet out - no more details here...

After all, the truck didn't want to start again! Checked relais, changed relais, looked for anything I remebered so far.
