Well to cheer myself up because i could not make the midlands meet i fitted a high level brake light borrowed from my sisters scrap rover 416 :roll:

Made a new bracket for the CB. The CB was hanging down too far before and hitting my knee's.

Also made a new bracket for the towbar sockets. Much better then the shop bought ones. They wont bend when I try and plug a trailer socket into them now and it lifts the sockets up a bit more so should offer some extra longevity. Replaced both sockets with metal ones instead of the tacky plastic ones that were there before.

fitted new speakers in the back..so now I have four new speakers.
Cleaned rear window seals to try and stop them leaking...waste of time didn't work. Remember reading somewhere that vaseline could help or was it silicone spray.

I took my nudge bars to my brothers work,to have someone extend the height by 2" to match the body lift.
i'm just waiting for a phone call to say "please come and have a fitting".
