Treated the various rust patches on the chevy/brava fings bodywork with rust neutraliser...ready to start prepping around the body.
Plan to sort the body, getting it straight and rust free a panel a time, flicking it back in after in the stock colour.
Then when the body is all sorted (with it still lookin half sensible in the meantime) I can etch it, base it in black and will leave me loads more time for crazy air brushing and metalflaking!!

Bugger Dan... A decent used one wont be more then 100 quid if that helps. Altho Alex is the man to talk to when it comes to going places in 2wd and when I broke my front diff at Stainby last year I drove around for nearly a whole day before I realised it was broken ;-)

Replaced the off-side head lamp on the Sport (following and advisory at the MOT) and replaced the air horns - they now work at the same time, rather than one after the other.

Met Jueomega, when he popped round for a coffee today as down this neck of the woods.

We then went for a play in the chevy/brava fing...did a spot of cliff climbing, went and had a gander at my mates military vehicle gathering and got the truck stuck in his farm pond...much to Jueomega's amusement...the mud was a bit deeper than I reckoned, we havent driven it yet this year....and it STUNK!
Got dragged out backwards by matts disco and bent the towbar/bumper...
Prop UJ is now really making a racket...
Then spent an hour and a half cleaning the truck...and then another 1/2 hour cleaning the road!! :axe:

Good fun and nice to meet Jueomega...Call by again when you are down this way again mate, we will use your car next time...its only fair!!!
