Well I have finally got my MOT and a new screen, managed to get windscreen fitted new for £134 same day :shock:

around the corner from work AND they picked my car up

Beats the quotes from the big boys £440, £340,£209, so shop around guys :thumbup:

I knew they would be cheaper but was concerned I wouldnt get one to fit it in time, but Graeme Spannerman made a call and he sorted it and even picked my car up from the windscreen place and got it retested.
Just have to back the handbrake off a bit now its passed :wink:

This arrived today from the US still in orignal packaging never been fitted. I have been wanting one for a while

You can borrow the v6 for the return leg if you want scott as she could do with a run. It would be cheaper too :roll:

Repaired steering damper ( new bushes and washers ) Replaced damaged boot on steering assy. Cleaned headlight and losened adjusters. So all in all ready for Retest on Monday.Also fitted my new seats, much better and less complaining from the boss lady

Today I used my last bit of POR15 http://www.por15.com/POR-15/productinfo/1GB/ to coat the fuel pipes and a few other vulnerable areas under the car, she now has the AT's back on for the road, re-siliconed around the snorkel as there had developed small cracks with the car flexing, fixed back my exterior temp sensor for my dash gizmo. Sorted out the tatty seat cover, blew a tyre up.
Oh and backed off the handbrake shoes now its passed its test :wink:

Put my beastie in for M.O.T. yesterday and he passed with only 2 advisory's 1)Front side lights discoloured. 2)Rear high level brake light has 2 bulbs out.
I put the side light in on purpose and I got a brand new LED brake light to fit so to be honest a complete bonus of a day!!!! :dance:

Looked at the rain running off it through the window n thought to myself,hhmmmmm, wonder wot it would look like in red or battleship grey!????? :shock:

Back down to Somerset again to pick my nan back up

took it for mot this mornning. Collected it this evening with a clean sheet :shock:

Retest passed ok all done for another 12months
