Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Took her for a spin to charge the battery up, sussed the passenger side front brake was binding
So off with the wheel, then the slider, top one fine but then the bottom slider bolt wouldnt budge, and you just now its going to snap....and snap it did So whizzed it off and toddled to my shed, checked the brake parts bin and yup you guessed it, a spare caliper carrier and slider bolt was in my brake parts bin So just need to wind back the piston and grease up the sliders and reassemble It pays to be a hoarder ![]() Ste

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Ste I had that happen on my last truck ,I just soaked it in wd40 for a bit then drilled a hole in the correct spot to get a punch in to drive it out .I then blocked the hole with a rubber bung and it lasted till the truck died..I still have it in my mates lock up

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Not today but over the last week or so,
2 new drop links - nice gold ones 2 new top ball joints - now flipped 1 new outer cv joint -OS 1 new inner cv joint -OS 1 new driveshaft - OS 1 new interior - complete leather kit with door cards oh and the fronts are heated Cut some of the panels so they are completely scratch free and good wax Later today will go with fuel filter and oil and filter change. What would normally get changed at the 120,00 mile mark? Not there yet but might as well pick the stuff up for it. If it ain't broke, fix it before it does!! You know it will!!
Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!you have to be a bit careful when changing the fuel filter on the dti dont you ?

Re: WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!Nah not with changing it, just with starting it afterwards making sure you either bled the fuel through to the rail or get no air in there to start with- there's a little how to on here I followed the first time I did it and it works a treat
