Took the dogs upto the wood in it, then they got it muddy on the inside! :roll:

Drove it

After probably 2 months, thats it running. HG on one engine, then a replacement engine, and finally a couple of extra tools to get it going.

On the road home I've discovered it doesnt like being put in 4 wheel drive (grinding from front Nearside) and the turbo isnt working.

Still, at least today anyway, I drove it. :dance:

Yesterday I meet up with dan and went laning
Ohh and I got another set of fronty star alloys and tyres yesterday

Made a list of stuff to do.

Got another piece of paper and carried on.... :-)

Started with oil and filter. Then oil again. Blimey, now looks like oil.

Checked gearbox and transfer box - drained the EP 90 out and refilled with multigrade. Now changes gear in less than a minute - win !

Drove it. ignored clicking from split bulkhead. :-)

I got the 2.8 running again think it was a blockage in the fuel pump possibily in the return pipe side of the pump now i have a half a tank of veg oil to use up

Another £85 fuel bill

Time to claim some of this fuel back i think :lol:

cant wait to see HRs faces when they see my fuel bill :rotfl:

Pressure washed it to reveal fairly major body damage from the last laning trip :lol:

LOL.... imagine polishing your car with a wire brush, then you'll have some idea :wink:

Had another go at removing Brake drum....still wont budge,,,,,

using a child to wash a car i prefer a sponge :lol:

One small child just isn't absorbent enough to wash a car you will need at least 2 or 3

I while back I let a local 10yr old kid wash one of my monsterised trucks...

probably wanted the £5 cash, he asked for to do it, for crack or something,
and he kept pestering me till I said yes...

The truck had been offroading the day before so was proper minging... :lol:

He did an alright job, looked ok...

so I gave him £3... :shock:

...as he could only reach half way up the windows and hence didnt do the roof... :shock:

He learnt a valuable lesson that day about the importance of assessing a job properly, before pricing it up and taking it on ... :twisted:

that reminds me of my two sons when they were younger, eldest one started washing a black mondeo down the road, sends his littl brother back to get a brush from my garage, few minuets later a women appears on the door step your sons have been cleaning my car with this, youngest one had only taken a wire brush to clean with :shock:

i should of checked what brush he took hasten to add i got of lightly :oops:
