WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Refitted the now dried out and brushed loadspace carpet, bolted the rear seat mounts too.
Having the write the wiring diagrams for the pair spots to be fitted to the roof as I will be using a common low current circuit already in place with the existing two roof lights but having them switched independently.

Spent the afternoon trying to fix my ignition problem. New barrell and key. No difference, new switch. no difference, checked system only 4 volts at solenoid so new switch no good either. Run a hot wire into cab with a flick switch between the terminals so it starts every time for the minute. Will try and find a new ignition switch next week. Have tried 3 second hand ones so far and all have had the same fault on.

well changed the rear springs took the heavy duty plus 2's off and put the originals back on, changed the new prop or should i say put it on then done rewar and front diff oils and topped gearbox oil up took it to the carwash and then back for a beer o clock and a chill as it has been a long day now to see if i lose the prop after dropping the height down ,but i think thats what my prob was as the uj's just could not handle the angle and pressure of it.

quite sad and lazy but i paid the local Arc car wash to T-cut and polish it, £20 quid well spent

does any one know the best way of checking if a cb is working correctly? :oops:

(I have a swr reading of 1.8/1.9 on channel 20 - listening to static though)

I moved mine about 15 feet down the drive so I could sweep up all the mud which had dropped of the undercarriage.

Must have swept up a bucket and a half of Salisbury Plain.

repositioned the lpg filler nozzle and then changed the seals on the pipe behind it to make them seal properly so stop letting some escape when filling lol check the oil and after then threatened it with a hose

Drove it to a mates to help him with his Mk3 Zodiac. Very nostalgic and after a while sorting the timing the engine fired up - great straight sixes!

I checked and topped up the oil and power steering fluid. I also found out that my EGR gaskets are leeking like a sieve...and there's carbon/oil or something black and horrible all over the driver's side of the engine. :cry:

I used it to help Greg out of a hole he was in !!!

went down to maccy dees for a banana milk shake and on a sunday night we get all the kids in there rinky dink glow in the dark corsas and golfs doing burn out and drifting round the round abouts and upset a pair of nuggets at the lights when they lined up next to me in lanes 2 and 3 to have a wee race of the lights against each other thinking they would drive right past me before it filtered into one lane down to the next round about and was so not amused when left the pair of them behind to 50 which was the limit and then sat there laughing my socks off

to make it worse when i pulled round the front of maccy dees with my milk shake in hand the kids where laughing at them as they parked up getting the bleep ripped out of them for getting done by a fat git in a fronty lol i just raised my shake to them and smiled and tootled off at tick over

good i love my v6 and this is exactly why even after 3 months of it doing my head in and refusing to work properly i refused to give in on my baby :dance:

Replaced all the fuel lines with nylon ones (got loads left if anyone wants to buy some)
Replaced one of the rear bumpers (thanks 2much)
Cut out the rotten part of the sill ready for welding plate in next weekend
Removed rotten side steps

And if you are really lucky, MrTom will bring his CB with him too! :lol:
