I went and did one or two lanes. Pulled my mate's Vitara out of the mud, and enjoyed a few hours of fresh Durham countryside air. :wink:

Picked my free caravan up

Then drove it straight to the weighbridge and scrapped it

But not before stripping the cabling, lighting etc out of it.

Got home and fitted the front prop UJ that came from Milners (this one has a grease nipple :roll:

)

Then took it up some very gentle lanes for a quick trial - Noise gone ! :thumbup:

after further encouragement from the wife i finally took a trip the weight bridge and scrapped 2 v6 blocks, 3 heads, 2 sets of common chambers and carbs, shed loads of pipes and fittings, engine mountings and old springs and assortment of other metal laying in a pile next to the shed as the gardeners are in this week to sort out the garden ready for spring.

i know screams of horror but i had a post up offering the lot for sale for months and only takers was for one of the heads.

still have a full set of coil packs 2 tps and various electrical parts

day off work and replaced the brake pipes with copper, they work much better than the old ones that had very nice holes in :shock:

There is a pub in glasgow and one in edinburgh called frankenstiens that puts on a rocky horror show .They sell shots in testubes . i hate to admit it been a glesga boy but edinburghs one is better

aye its a good for a weekend away plenty of boozers glasgow used to be great but the council a holes decided to get all snooty and done away with the street entertainers by creating allsorts of licence and conditions it killed the city center then the smoking ban and load of other stupid ideas just killing the pubs n retraunts they seem to forget glasgow was and still is working class folk but we not good enough any more

Liverpool rocks wit free street entertainment, it makes getting the whole 12 yards to the next bar more fun :thumbup:

So tomorrow in between forecast rain I will be , greasing props, serving brakes and re-greasing hubs, changing wheels from muds to AT's for the road, changing power steering fluid and a bit of rewiring and re-securing a light :thumbup:
