Its sad news I am afraid, but I have just just heard from John's wife that he passed away last week.
John was a mod on here for years, back in the good old days of FOG before everything changed, and was a great asset to the team back then that I was fortunate to join.
Always helpful, a wealth of knowledge and a great sence of humour, he really kept us on our toes.
Condolances to his wife and those he leaves behind.

OMG, what a shock. I was only just exchanging jokes with him over the Christmas period. :shock:

Rest in peace John. Best wishes to his family.
