I was looking at the safari type for mine, but think it`ll have to wait for a bit as all the ones i like and have looked at are well into 3 figures.

Me mates getting a snorkel made up at the moment, and its getting fitted up to his fronty on saturday, and his is a swb same as yours, same colour too .

Will post some pics up of it at weekend when i see it myself. Hes also got the flexi pipe to extend the airbox to the snorkel pipe.

Well done mate, least it e`ll keep the water out at weekend for ya.

erm.... that first ford looks a tad deeper than 1 foot

Maybe im getting neurotic about taking a petrol through water :(

Although it shouldnt bother the mirthmobile, ive just emptied a fresh 420ml can of WD40 all over my engine.

Haps , I've taken $$2 through it when it was deeper and a tad faster than SB in sherman (She doesn't want to break Him again) and not had a problem..
Calverton is a deceptive ford, the ramps in and out are quite steep so you do get a good wave, stick back and watch the first couple through then decide if you want to do it or not, it's voluntary so no-one's going to take the p*$$

Haps, I will be taking stuff with me to dry out the ignition system on mine (and yours too obviously) so dont worry about it...

Besides, We have both been through deeper ;)

Will take a couple of spare air filters too...

Details for the Meet/Departure Point for the fording Run will be given out on the Saturday .. this is to prevent anyone turning up at SBs Home uninvited

Haps, marko .. you both sound as bad as SB .. they're not that Bad and you'll be fine, if you just watch the 1st few through it's up to you if you do the ford or not .. no pressure at all (Remember I'm in a Petrol too)
