Oh yes.... i had a blat to bonsall quarry today.....IN MY SMART  :D  :D  :D 8) .

If you look at the direction in the first posting in this thread, i got as far as "... at another crossroads, where the road that crosses you is tarmaced, on the right you will see the first track this is where they hold 4x4 events, you can use this or, go straight over cross roads a gravel track (ha ha)..." I went straight on!!!

I saw a blue/green Frontera A SWB with a solid wheel cover (silver siding, black cebtre with "frontera" in the typical multiple colours).... Please tell me that was someone on here, we crossed paths about 3.15pm.

.......................................................................................

Just looked through the prevoius postings, yes Marko, that was me!!!!!!!! :D

I didnt realise it was you untill i got on here mate... Had I known I could have taken you down into the quarry itself (obviously as a passenger in the fronty)

You where heading in the right direction anyways. Did you find it ?

Yes thats my Fronty in that funny blue green colour that most sports round here seem to wear. You appear to have not noticed my front number plate was missing LOL, I cant help myself once I get in that water.

It was rather muddy though, Still managed to have plenty of fun. I coated my car with Maxwax, and as it was raining all day it was clean by the time i got home :)

There are a few lanes you can take to get there, I turn of at the signpost for Ibel (or is it Ible ?) and then its loads of lanes and coarse roads, This is to the right somewhere before the pub, Then you can go to the end and turn right, or, you get to a national speed limit sign and you can make a right there too.

Sugarbabe, Have you seen my posting about the one in mansfield ?

Thats massive there, You could get lost in the place, Might be worth a group meet there at some point (after i get some better tyres) ;)
