Incidentally, for those who may be interested (and I make no apologies for my truck-porn tendencies, hehe) TruckFest is on at the East of England Showground in Peterborough that weekend.
It's on the Sunday & Monday of the weekend we're at Avalanche, so I'm definitely thinking about it. Perhaps (depending on alcohol consumption on the Sunday night) I might be decamping early on Monday morning, doing the 40mile drive to Peterborough, and then bimble off back to the South coast on Monday evening.

that's ok Jim, we understand you are not well in the head, and if you want to leave early Monday and have no drink on Sunday, that's up to you, but for some reason when the drink is flowing, i think you will have your glass under it, or you lips

Should be plenty of time Saturday or Sunday evening hun... By the time the meet rolls round, it won't be getting dark until about half past nine, so once everyone's back in time for the BBQ tea perhaps?
Admittedly, if there's a "Shiny shiny truck" category, that's best done before any mud gets involved.
