Anyone fancy meeting up at Toddington?

I was wondering that one earlier. I think the concensus from the SE group is M11 then to the A14 and across.

Me and Houndog are coming up from Camberley way so coming round the M25 to meet you at Toddington on the M1 is doable. Stick yer name in the South Coast convoy thread too, and we'll see how it pans out.

We live in Brentwood which is right on J28 of the M25 so we can meet anywhere really.

i'll be leaving harlow at 11am and going up the M11 than A14 can meet up with people from cambridge at the little chef (J29 A14) at 11:45ish

I might meet u at barhill, never seen a little shef there tho...not sayin there isnt one there, but I cant think of where it is lol. I know were tescos is (go there all the time lol)

That fine with us, we can hang around at the petrol station on the M25/A12 roundabout for anyone who wants to meet there.

Ahh actually, i just been informed by the missus we cant leave on the Friday morning, is this a Friday or Saturday convoy?

Now I'm confused, where are we all meeting and when?

Well I'm up for whatever everyone thinks is easiest, have to get around the M25 to get up north so wherever you guys rekon

Personally I don't think the A14 is going to be a problem.
It's a bank holiday because someone is getting married and lots of people will be at home watching it on tv. The traffic might be worse after the tv coverage finishes from around 1pm, but I still think there will be less traffic on the roads than we think there is gonna be

If the A14 is busy and everyone gets stuck for hours, then Badboy gets to supply traffic jam refreshments, and wash everyones trucks before the home journey I reckon! :lol:

For the Kent Foggers, a final meeting point at thurrock services might be a plan to pick up Pete who's probably coming up the a21 and round the 25...

Maybe a meet point up by Nells cafe on the A2 would be best for the rest who would be using the m2/a2 to head out of Kent...

Might be easier for sure, I couldnt think of anywhere to stop between M2 junction of the m25 and the tunnel...

Well I will be travelling from Kettering now at the girlfriend's house so will meet you on the A14 at Kettering, just let me know what time you are coming thru. or you can all pop in for a brew on the way and really wake the neighbourhood up :lol:

there is a very good chance that I'll be in Peterborough on the thursday night, so I could be playing catch up along the A14 from roughly Thrapston (sp)..oh it's getting close..
