quite a few things ain't right. in the discussions bit (general), the 2.2petrol bit isn't right and the chat bit that opens up a new window. i get the feeling i've upset a couple of people on here, and it's affected my 'status' (if there's such a thing). and is it right that the A series section has no posts???

this is really weird... i can read the forum bits when i click certain buttons to get there, but when i click certain other buttons to get there it doesn't work :wtf:

Dont know who you think you might have upset mate, but I shouldnt worry to much, we all upset peeps now and again, its having the balls to try and make up that determines the measure of someone in my book.

That's intended as far as the permissions go. It's done that way to keep things tidy, no more sinister reason. Think of the forum like a filling cabinet - the board as a whole is the cabinet, each major group of sections is a drawer, then each section therein (say a particular engine, etc) is a hanging file. You don't want loss of stuff floating around unsorted as you'd never find it, hence the arrangements. There's nothing in the generic "engine" category, it's all filled under the relevant type
