Chargeable USBs

Chargeable USBs by FronteraGirl on Thu Oct 28, 2010 3:13 pm
My lappy has a chargeable USB port, I gather I have to enable this feature in the BIOS / setup / bootup stage thing or whatever its called, but do I need a special cable so I can connect phone to lappy, or just an ordinary USB?

Ta :P

Thanks Kevin, I have to confess I haven't tried the port yet so might well be enabled already - if not, I know what to do now. Thanks muchly for the info :)

My TomTom will charge from my lappy usb without changing any settings, I think USB2 does it automatically, but dont
