Grrrr keep getting thrown of the boards. HELP!!!

For the last couple of weeks i seem to got through stages for a hour or so nearly everyday where i keep getting thrown of the boards. I have to log back in everytime, it happens on both PC's and and my parents house and im getting tired of it now. It will happen every couple of minuites. Help!!!!!!

How do you mean thrown off?

Are yo closing the browser then opening it and having to log back in?

If so it will be your deleting the history every time you close it, change the setting in options.

Thats just it im not closing the browser i can be viewing one forum go back to the board index and have to log back in, log back in go toanother part of the forum have a quick ganders through there decide if i want to view a topic or return back to the board index and have to log back in before i can.

It took me 15 mins to post this topic, even then i had to pre type it in notepad so i could just past it before i got kicked off lol.

Wow, just to be sure, you have the "keep me logged in " box ticked?

I would run a malware check as well.

Yep checked the keep me logged in box and run a malware scan etc using malewarebyte, superantispyware, spybot, trojan remover, norton scan just to name a few over the last week and apart from a few tracking cookies all seemed well. Will run another one throughout the night to be sure though.

What browser are you using? is it set to private and what settings are the cookies at?

Im using IE8, dont use the inprivate browsing and have reset IE to its defaults. Will see how things go. I know forums use cookies for passwords etc. Will do another virus/spyware/malware scan, rest IE again and flush dns.

Even had virgin replace my router as that was slowing the connection every 24hrs untill you rebooted it.

Try CC cleaner, could your connection be timing out then re connecting, thus loosing the page?

No i havent dont know how i missed CCleaner we run it everyday at work as part of the battery of scans we use to remove infections from computer :oops:

Just a thought as you have had router problems, could you ip be changing and the boards are not recognising the ip each time you post, hitting my limits on this one but Im sure Ive read about this before.

Well apart from a few tracking cookies my system is clean, might plug my old router back in and see what happens.

Just discover some navy boys has hacked my router. Even i cant remember the bloody password so im guessing they have use some sort of software. I use WPA as its more secure than WEP with a 12 charecter aplha numeric password. Change of passwords and hide SSID me thinks
