Help with GIF image

I am trying to resize a GIF image but with no success. When I resize it, it stops moving, do I need a specific program to do this
or can it be done using standard XP programs. Thanks for any advice on this.

Most programs will only resize the initial layer of a gif, so would stop the animation. I don't know if photobucket's software allows you to resize animated gifs without truncating them. If noth then Photoshop or Gimp should be able to do it.

Thanks Jay for your help but I found a website that does resizing. you just upload youre image and then decide what you size you want,job done
