You have to remove it inside the tank guard.
This should be 4 bolts, 2 each side.
But remember to support it as you take it off.

Thank you for your offer I'm going to investigate pores in the fuel pipe from tank to filter if they are ok I'll contact you to remove tank
Not so sure with the Sport, but with the LWB there's no need to drop the tank if your just changing the fuel lines or need to access the fuel level sensor. Just cut a hole in the boot floor (in the right place mind) and then plate it over when finished.
It's the way to go mate. Makes the job soooo much easier and if you cut it in the right place there's no need to ever drop the tank again. There's a few threads on here about it as well (such as here ).
I would make a wee visit to a scrappy first though to get some fronty boot floor material to use as a cover once the hole is cut and at the same time you can measure it all up so you cut the hole in the right place. There are some reinforcing sections going across the boot floor (side to side) that you need to miss.
If you slide some thin ply in between the top of the tank and boot floor (you can get it in through the gap between the chassis and the body behind the rear wheels) it will help keep the saw away from the fuel lines.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered )
