Dipped Beam permanently on.Hi All. I'm in need a bit of help on my 2.4i 92 reg for some reason im getting two permanent live feeds to the dipped beam relay. I have checked the light switches and they work correctly as does the relay. If i disconnect the cable going to the stalk for the indicators and Main beam the dipped beam goes off. Am i right in thinking the problem is with that stalk or could the problem be somewhere else. Also if anyone could point me to a link to download the lighting cct diag i would be greatful. Cheers in advance.
Alan.
Re: Dipped Beam permanently on.all the wiring dirgrams are in the Haynes manual
and it sounds like you have got some dirt in the contacts in the switch, so you need to remove it all and clean it up. the switch is east to open.. CARTREK

Re: Dipped Beam permanently on.Yeah as above mate. Remove the switch system on the column and give a good clean with electrical switch cleaner or carb cleaner.
Check first that the swithing isn't broken. Regards, Keith.
