Wheel fitment

Postby 1packabs on Sat Jun 25, 2016 12:21 am

Simple question.
Will the 15 inch alloys from the earlier frontera nautilus fit my second edition v6 limited 2001 model?
I like them as there a much deeper dish with a wider offset.

Yes and you will get a wider offset. Ian (bobbinsjob) used to run leafer A series 15" wheels on his old B series and they looked cool.
If you do the wheel swap don't forget to scrap any crud off the wheel inner mating surface before fitting. Helps avoid the crud degeneration with resultant wheel coming off at speed. Been there and got the T-shirt

Thank you for that.
I'm looking to fit 31-10.5-15 tyres on them. I'm told that there the same size as the 245-70-16 tyres in there now.

245/70R16 are about an inch smaller than 31's. You cannot mix them. 265/70R16 is a far closer match.
