What error codes were present? when cleared and then goes into limp mode what were the codes then?

It's what the computer said when my uncle plugged it in came up critical fuel injection pump failure keeps going in to limp mode

He cleared it and it still came up fuel injection pump failure I can't remember the code

Whoever had it before me had the Eml turned off so they must of been aware of the problem

Fitted a new fuel injection pump and it's no better still showing up as critical fuel injection pump failure it is fine for acceleration up to about 50 mph and after that it's like it goes in to limp mode gets to 80 but takes a while no acceleration after 40 mph really struggles up hills ect is it that both pumps are faulty or could it be something else

Personaly i would look at crankshaft sensor. I can't see it being both pumps! And i would also get the codes read on another machine as it could be that reading it wrong!

It's a snap on computer and all it comes up with is fuel injection pump failure

We're going to get it read by 2 more computers might give something else also the pump that's been put on is from a scrapy so it might b faulty but it's running exactly the same as the one we took off

Is there anyone who lives near colchester with a tech 2 computer I don't think it's the fuel pump but I'm being told it is just drive it seems weired both pumps are exactly the same wish I knew what I was doing and just fix it
